Had lunch here today with three others. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was cool. There was a line when we got there, but it moved quickly. Next time I'm in the neighborhood, I'm there.
Class place. Mike knows what he is doing. Keep it limited to the best menu items. Decor' is amazingly "Red State".
I love this little hamburger joint. The burgers are hot, juicy and very fresh with grilled onions on them. The fries are plentiful and fried with a crispy outer shell. They have a burger condiment bar with jalapeños, pickles, onions, lettuce, and relish. My husband got fried okra. He thought it was perfect I thought it was a little over fried. The flavor was good but just a touch too crispy. The staff is amazing and so friendly. The owners wife works in the dining area bringing you napkins or anything else you might need. She also buses tables as needed. She also spends times chatting with anyone who wants to talk. They opened at 11am. We got there at 11:10 and there was a line to order. They are very popular and it can be hard to get a table. They are very conservative and have flags, pictures of Trump and even brand their burgers with "Trump". The walls are covered with conservative stories. It's a very interesting place to go and read the walls.
Heard about this place on TikTok and had to try since we were in the area. Super friendly staff. Food was cooked to order and remarkably fast. Place was packed. We were there on a Friday evening an hour before they were closing. Burgers were packed with flavor, chicken fried steak sandwich was HUGE! French fry portions are shareable they're so big. Love they have a condiments set up with pickles, relish, jalapeño, ketchup, mustard, mayo.... Love that. It was pretty crowded but we didn't have to wait for a table. As soon as people left, the table was bussed and the area was cleaned up. Great place to go if you're a lover of freedom of speech. If we're in the area- we'll be back for the amazing onion burgers!!
You know this burger joint is good when you're walking up to the shop and you can smell the grill / burgers / grilled onions from the parking lot. This spot was hoppin' on a Saturday around 6pm. I ordered the cheeseburger with onions and my husband got the hickory burger. We devoured those burgers. They were SO GOOD. Excellent flavor, buns were delicious, and the amount of onions was just right. Afterward my husband decided he wanted a peach fried pie which was also on point. You can tell this is a family-owned restaurant and I was glad to see it so busy. We'll definitely come back.
Always can count on Little Mikes for a great hamburger. I must start with the staff. They are incredibly friendly. Always upbeat and very friendly. The food is great! I love their burgers. This time mine came with a trump stamp. Personally don't care for trump either way, but I thought it was hilarious! Added some fun to the burger. You know it's a good restaurant because of the atmosphere. It's always packed! Always full of a whole range of people. Many elderly, but I often see young families in there too. It's just a cozy home town vibe restaurant with great burgers.
